St. Christopher-Good Shepherd Religious Education program provides instruction and sacramental preparation for children in grades 1 through 6 during the afternoons of Wednesday or Thursday. Our office and classrooms are housed in the St. Christopher’s School building at 30 Benner Road.

• Our children in grades 1-6 attend classes once a week during the school year (on either Wednesdays or Thursdays) from 4:45 to 6pm. Each grade level focuses on a different aspect of Catholic faith and life. The Sacraments of Reconciliation and Eucharist are typically received during the second year of attending the education program.  Call or email the Education office for Fall Registion Forms or you can find them online. Late fee's apply after July 1, so register early.
• Our 7, 8 & 9th graders, who are preparing for Confirmation, meet for 10 Thursday's starting in September.   Call or email the Education office for more Information.

New Students:  Please bring your child’s original baptismal certificate to the Religious Education office. (We will make a copy and return the original to you.) If your family is new to the Religious Education program, please visit or contact the Religious Education Office. Please be sure to provide us with the date and place of First Reconciliation and First Communion if applicable. If you are new to the Parish and are not registered in the Parish, please contact the rectory. All Religious Education families must be registered in the parish.

Any family with a child entering first grade or any family with a child new to the program must register in person at the Religious Education Office. Please bring your child’s Baptismal Certificate and certificates for any other sacraments that have been received.

Tuition and Fees:

Grades K-8: Tuition is due* with registration.  (Registration Form is under "Home".)
 

Communion Fee: $75 due* upon receipt.

Confirmation Fee:  $150 ($135 if no robe is needed) due* upon receipt.
*  No child is ever turned away from our Religious Education Program due to financial constraints. Contact our office to make arrangements for a payment plan, reduced tuition/fees, etc. Please do not postpone registration due to financial concerns.

Mass Policy:
We're Catholic so obviously, lol. All children receive a packet of Mass cards which they give to the Priest or deacon after each weekend Mass.
You are your child’s first and foremost teacher when it comes to faith formation! Our job is to support you. Let’s work as a team! Please let us know how and when we can help you to fulfill this most important role in the spiritual and social development of our children.
